Show Report - Sunday 7 September 2025
The Kimble and Ellesborough Horticultural Society Autumn Show was held in the Stewart Hall, Little Kimble on Sunday 7th September. I would like to thank all the people who helped set up the show on Saturday, all the exhibiters and all who help pack up the stuff after the show on Sunday. There was well over 150 exhibits which were of a very high standard considering what the weather has been like, provided by 13 members.
Louise Richardson had a very successful show winning many of the trophies for Vegetables, Fruit and Flowers. John Marshall won the Chrysanthemum Trophy and the Master class. Alison Berry won the Floral Art and Pat Southgate Trophy, Laura Ells won the Preserves Trophy, Karen Eves won the Nora Weir Trophy, David Ridgway won the Greenway Dahlia Trophy and the Orchards Trophy.
There were many visitors during the afternoon, who looked around the show before having a drink and a piece of cake, with many buying raffle tickets.
Lastly, I would give a big thank you for those who helped me run our great show and hope to see more of you entering next year.
