The Kimble and Ellesborough Horticultural Society has its roots in the Velvet Lawn Cottage Gardens Association in the mid-nineteenth century. You can read more about its origins and development in the History of the Society which goes back to 1860.
Today the Society organises monthly meetings with a visiting speaker and holds Spring & Autumn Shows. We have a Plant Sale in May. We also organize visits to local gardens of interest for our members.
Our monthly meetings and Shows are held at Stewart Hall, Little Kimble. The building is accessible for the disabled and has a toilet for the disabled.
If you are not a member but would be interested in attending any of our monthly meetings please contact Colin Ells (Chairman) at colin.kehs@outlook.com.
Meetings are held at 8.00 pm every 1st Tuesday of the month (except January and August) at Stewart Hall. Although we pride ourselves on our expert speakers, all talks are very informal and are followed by refreshments and a raffle.
Visitors are always welcome - do come and try one of our meetings. If you decide you would like to join please make yourself known to any Committee member or contact Liz O'Donnell, Membership Secretary, at kehs.bucks@outlook.com.
