In 1926 the Velvet Lawn Association become the Kimble Horticultural Association. The records of the first Minutes and the Show Schedule cast a fascinating light on the new Association and also on the nature of Society at that time.

A Dip into the Archives - 1975-1983

The Kimble Horticultural Association had closed down in the mid-60's for reasons unknown. However, in 1975 three men decided that decided that the villages of Great and Little Kimble and Marsh needed a new gardening society and the Kimble Horticultural Society was formed.
