Show Report - Sunday 6 September 2026

Before the entries started coming in, I was thinking how I could spread entries out to fill the benches, considering the difficult summer we have had, how wrong I was. Nine members put in a marvellous 154 entries. The big winner on the day was Karen Eves winning all the main vegetable, flower cups and fruit cup. Alison Berry won the Floral Art trophy, Laura Ells won all the novice trophies, learning how to improve her exhibits, as she put them on the show bench. My potato collection was judged as the best exhibited in show, which also gained me a NVS medal and gave me enough points to win the Ron Miller Potato cup. Karen Eves was awarded the RHS Banksian medal, a just reward for many exhibits in both shows.

I would like to thank all that helped during the set up and on show day, not forgetting those running the raffle and refreshments on show day.
